QUOTE & PRICING POLICY

This Quote & Pricing Policy ("Policy") explains how Drone Jet Services Pty Ltd, ABN 39 694 752 380 ("Drone Jet Services", "we", "us" or "our") prepares quotations and manages pricing where exact requirements or site conditions cannot reasonably be confirmed before attendance.
This Policy must be read together with the applicable quotation and the Drone Jet Services Pty Ltd Terms & Conditions of Service ("Terms"). This Policy explains our pricing practices; the Terms govern the contract between the parties, including payment terms, cancellation, liability, drone operations and consumer rights. Where this Policy and the Terms address the same subject, the Terms prevail. Where there is an inconsistency between this Policy and a specific commercial term expressly stated in a quotation, the specific term stated in the quotation applies to that project, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
1. ONLY WRITTEN QUOTATIONS ARE BINDING
Drone Jet Services does not provide binding pricing verbally, by phone, or through informal indications of cost. A price is only binding once it is issued to the Client as a written quotation ("Quotation") in accordance with this Policy and the Terms. Any verbal discussion of likely cost before that point is general and indicative only, and does not form part of the agreement.
2. QUOTATION BASIS
Drone Jet Services prepares Quotations using the information reasonably available at the time of assessment, which may include photographs and videos, plans or drawings, aerial, satellite or mapping measurements, measurements supplied by the Client, property and building information, site descriptions, information provided by property managers, owners or contractors, and previous site or service information where available.
A physical site inspection is not required for every Quotation. Where exact information cannot reasonably be obtained before attendance, Drone Jet Services may use reasonable estimates and assumptions to prepare the Quotation.
3. QUOTATION VALIDITY
Unless otherwise stated in the Quotation, a Quotation is valid for 7 days from the date of issue, consistent with clause 3 of the Terms. After the validity period expires, Drone Jet Services may review the Quotation, and a revised Quotation may be required where costs, availability, scope, site conditions or other relevant circumstances have changed.
4. SCOPE AND PRICING FACTORS
The quoted price applies only to the property, areas, surfaces and services specifically identified in the Quotation. Pricing may take into account factors including:
• estimated or measured surface area
• type and height of the structure
• service type and expected labour requirements
• drone or other equipment requirements
• chemicals, cleaning agents and water requirements, including DI/purified water
• access requirements, travel and mobilisation
• site complexity, contamination level and surface condition
• operational and safety requirements; and
• other project-specific costs.
Drone Jet Services is not required to provide its internal costing formulas, margins, overhead calculations or other confidential commercial pricing information.
5. MEASUREMENTS AND ESTIMATED AREAS
Where physical measurements are not reasonably available before quotation, Drone Jet Services may estimate areas using photographs, plans, aerial imagery, mapping software or other reasonable measurement methods. Measurements used for quotation purposes may therefore differ from final site measurements, and a minor difference will not automatically result in a price adjustment.
Where the actual area or scope is materially greater or different from the basis used to prepare the Quotation, Drone Jet Services may propose a reasonable adjustment before completing the affected additional work, in accordance with clause 12 of this Policy and clause 6 of the Terms. Where reasonably practicable, the reason and basis for any material adjustment will be explained to the Client.
6. SITE CONDITIONS
Pricing may be based on reasonable assumptions regarding the condition of the property and surfaces. Actual conditions may differ from those visible or reasonably identifiable before attendance, including substantially heavier contamination than expected, mould, algae, moss, lichen, mineral or bore-water staining, oxidation, deteriorated coatings, unexpected surface sensitivity, restricted access, or additional safety requirements.
Where actual conditions materially affect the agreed service, Drone Jet Services may recommend a change in method, scope or price, in accordance with clause 12 of this Policy.
7. WATER, ELECTRICITY, CHEMICALS & DI/TDS PRICING
Where a Quotation assumes access to suitable water and/or electricity, pricing is prepared on that basis. If a suitable supply is unavailable, insufficient or materially different from the information used to prepare the Quotation, alternative arrangements may be required, and any material additional cost will be explained to the Client before being charged, where reasonably practicable. These matters, and Drone Jet Services' obligations regarding water and electricity, are addressed in clause 8 of the Terms.
Certain services, particularly final rinsing of glass, windows or other appropriate surfaces, may require deionised (DI) or purified water. Because it may not be commercially or practically reasonable to attend a property solely to test water quality before quoting, Drone Jet Services may calculate the Quotation using a reasonable estimated or standard TDS assumption. The incoming water may be tested at the property before or during the service. A higher TDS reading does not automatically result in an additional charge — an adjustment will only be proposed where the actual water conditions materially increase DI resin consumption, purified-water requirements, filtration requirements, service time, or another directly associated operating cost. Full terms applicable to DI water and TDS are set out in clause 9 of the Terms.
Pricing may include an expected type and quantity of cleaning agents or treatments based on the information available when the Quotation is prepared. Normal variations in chemical consumption are part of Drone Jet Services' ordinary operating risk and will not automatically result in an additional charge; a variation may only be proposed where an unforeseen site condition materially changes the required treatment, quantity, method or cost.
8. DRONE AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Where a quoted service involves remotely piloted aircraft, pricing is based on the operational requirements reasonably anticipated when the Quotation is prepared. The final method of operation remains subject to applicable aviation requirements, site conditions, weather, safety requirements and Drone Jet Services' operational procedures, as set out in clause 13 of the Terms. Changes required solely for safe or lawful operation do not automatically result in additional charges. However, where previously undisclosed or materially different site conditions create substantial additional work, equipment, personnel, approvals or other project-specific costs, Drone Jet Services may propose a variation.
9. TRAVEL AND MOBILISATION
Travel or mobilisation included in a Quotation applies to the location and service specified in that Quotation. Additional travel requested by the Client, additional site visits resulting from Client-requested changes, unavailable agreed access, or other circumstances reasonably within the Client's control may result in additional charges. Any material additional travel charge will be communicated to the Client where reasonably practicable before it is incurred.
10. THIRD-PARTY COSTS, PERMITS AND APPROVALS
Where a project requires a permit, approval, body corporate authorisation, council consent or other third-party cost that is not included in the Quotation, the Client is responsible for that cost unless the Quotation expressly states that Drone Jet Services will obtain and pay for it. Where reasonably practicable, Drone Jet Services will identify any known third-party cost before it is incurred and explain the reason for it.
The Client is responsible for obtaining any consent, approval or authorisation from a body corporate, landlord, council or other third party that is reasonably necessary for the Services to be carried out, unless the Quotation expressly states that Drone Jet Services will obtain it. Drone Jet Services is not responsible for delay or additional cost arising from the Client's failure to obtain a required third-party consent or approval.
11. CLIENT-SUPPLIED INFORMATION
The Client is responsible for providing accurate information reasonably required to prepare the Quotation. Where pricing is based on information supplied by the Client and that information is materially inaccurate, incomplete or different from the actual site conditions, Drone Jet Services may reassess the affected portion of the Quotation. This does not mean that every minor difference will result in an adjustment — any adjustment must be reasonably connected to a material difference affecting the scope or cost of the service.
12. VARIATIONS AND ADDITIONAL WORK
Work outside the accepted scope is not automatically included in the original price. Examples include additional facades, roof areas, windows or glass, buildings, cleaning or treatment, painting, inspections, equipment requirements, or other services requested after Quotation acceptance.
Where reasonably practicable, Drone Jet Services will advise the Client of the additional price before undertaking material additional chargeable work. Approval may be given in writing, including electronically by email, SMS or other written communication. The full variation process is set out in clause 6 of the Terms.
13. CORRECTION OF OBVIOUS ERRORS
If a Quotation contains a genuine and obvious error — such as a clerical, typographical or calculation error, or an obvious mismatch between the described scope and the price — Drone Jet Services may correct the error and issue a revised Quotation, provided the Client is notified of the correction as soon as reasonably practicable after the error is identified and before the affected work is carried out. Drone Jet Services will not rely on this clause to make a change of substance to the scope or price that is not attributable to a genuine and obvious error.
14. DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
Drone Jet Services may, at its discretion, offer a discount or promotional price for a Quotation. A discount or promotion applies only to the Quotation, project or period stated at the time it is offered, is not transferable to another project, and does not create an entitlement to the same or a similar discount on any future project unless expressly agreed in writing. Unless stated otherwise, discounts and promotions cannot be combined.
Withdrawing or changing a discount or promotional offer does not affect a Quotation that has already been accepted by the Client.
15. NO AUTOMATIC PRICE INCREASE
The purpose of this Policy is not to allow Drone Jet Services to increase an accepted Quotation without reasonable justification. Ordinary variations in operating costs, minor measurement differences or normal differences in material consumption will generally remain part of the quoted price.
A price adjustment will only be proposed where there is a reasonable commercial basis, such as a material difference in the actual scope, materially different site conditions, additional work requested by the Client, materially inaccurate information relied upon when preparing the Quotation, or another material requirement that could not reasonably have been identified when the Quotation was prepared.
16. APPROVAL OF MATERIAL ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Where reasonably practicable, Drone Jet Services will obtain the Client's approval before undertaking material additional chargeable work, explain the reason for the proposed adjustment, and provide sufficient information for the Client to understand why the additional charge is required. The Client may choose not to proceed with additional work that falls outside the accepted scope, subject to work already completed and any reasonable project-specific costs already incurred.
17. PAYMENT TERMS AND GST
Payment requirements, including any deposit, progress payment and balance payment, are set out in clause 5 of the Terms and will be specified in the applicable Quotation and/or invoice. No Client is automatically entitled to credit or post-completion payment terms; any alternative payment arrangement must be expressly approved by Drone Jet Services in writing, and payment arrangements approved for one project do not automatically apply to future projects.
Pricing is presented according to Drone Jet Services Pty Ltd's GST registration status at the time the Quotation or invoice is issued, in accordance with clause 4 of the Terms. Drone Jet Services is not currently registered for GST. If this changes, prices shown to consumers will be presented as a single GST-inclusive figure as required by the Australian Consumer Law, and business-to-business pricing will be clearly labelled where shown exclusive of GST.
18. RELATIONSHIP WITH TERMS & CONDITIONS
This Policy explains Drone Jet Services' quotation and pricing practices. It does not replace, and should not be read as limiting, the Terms & Conditions of Service. The applicable Quotation, this Policy and the Terms should be read together, and acceptance of a Quotation is subject to the Terms and any project-specific conditions expressly stated in the Quotation.
